Engineer Oscar Albin was born in Mexico City in 1958. He studied Mechanical Engineering at the Tecnologico de Monterrey (ITESM), and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Renewable Energy. Mr. Albin started his professional career in 1982 at Volkswagen - Mexico and two years after he moved to Chrysler - Mexico where he developed most of his professional career covering different positions during 25 years, being his last position as Director of Purchasing and Quality to Suppliers. During his stay at Chrysler de México he also served as Development Manager of Mexican Suppliers at Chrysler Corporation in Detroit Michigan for four years and subsequently as result of the merger between Daimler and Chrysler his destination was the Purchasing Direction of Mercedes Benz Spain. This last position was held in 1999 for a period of three years. In recent years, Engineer Albin has served as Purchasing Director in other companies outside the automotive field such as Banamex and as Director of Supplies of Bohn de Mexico, a leading company in the manufacture of refrigeration equipment. Albin currently serves as the Executive President of the National Auto Parts Industry (INA), position he has held since January 2012.
