Biographical Notes
Diego Ramirez
Nissan Mexicana


Diego currently serves as Director of Government Relations for Nissan Mexicana. Prior to his position, he was also part of the Legal Department of Nissan Mexicana.
In addition to the responsibilities within Nissan, he serves as Executive Advisor to the Mexican Association of the Automotive Industry (AMIA) and is part of the Business Section for the North America Region of the Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology COMCE. Originally from Baja California, Bachelor of Laws from the Autonomous University of Baja California, Master of Laws in International Business (LLM) from the University of Montreal and MBA from the School of Law and Administration of the Universities Panthéon-Assas and Sorbonne of Paris .
Diego has collaborated in some of the most prestigious transnational companies and companies in the world such as De Hoyos and Aviles, Nissan, DuPont and Phillips, providing legal support and in governmental relations for both Mexico and Latin America. He has participated in the negotiating rooms of the NAFTA 2.0, as well as the TLCUEM, TPP and ACE 55.
Diego has more than 15 years of experience in the international field, mainly in the areas of Public Affairs, Commercial Treaties, Administration, Corporate Governance, Legal and International Negotiations.
